HTE Campus Kids AFTER School Program
The After School Extended Day Program is researched based and has been successful throughout the county. The program attributes its success to:
- Structured small group instruction and homework assistance
- Activities that have both an academic, cultural enrichment and recreational focus
- Instructional activities that are an extension of and support to the activities of the
school day
- Staff-trained teachers, paraprofessionals and other instructors
- A curriculum tied to local, state, and national educational standards
Note: An hour to an hour and a half is dedicated to homework. Completion is determined on the amount given by homeroom teacher, as well as the amount of time it takes the student to work. Projects will not be worked on during afterschool.
