Mission Statement:

The Counseling Department aims to develop a comprehensive program addressing the academic, career, and personal/social growth of all students. Our programs strive to meet the diverse needs of our student population, with the goal of removing barriers to learning and promoting high achievement.

Roles and Services:

Individual Counseling: I am available to meet with students individually, referred by parents, teachers, administration, or self-referral. Topics may include anger management, conflict resolution, academic improvement, grief, or crisis situations.

Small Group Counseling: For additional support, I conduct small group sessions on various topics such as academics, career/goal setting, or personal/social concerns. Groups meet during the school day, avoiding core subject times.

Responsive Services: I address immediate student needs through counseling, crisis intervention, consultation, referral, and peer mediation.

Classroom guidance lessons

I will go into classrooms at least once a month to share a lesson with the entire class. Topics are based on the needs of the students.
