Principal's Corner 

Dear Families and Community Members,

It is with great pride and honor that I greet you as the new principal of Hightower Trail Elementary School.  As an educator with over twenty years of experience I am deeply committed to providing every student the quality education they deserve and need.  Together, we will accomplish this task by setting high academic expectations for all children and ensuring that the appropriate supports are available to increase success.  As we maintain our positive school culture, commitment to teaching excellence, student accountability and parental engagement, it is our goal that when our students depart Hightower Trail Elementary School, they are equipped with the necessary tools to compete with their peers globally.  

My goals for the remainder of the 2018 -2019 school year are to ensure consistency and continuity, establish and re-establish relationships with students, staff and community members as well as ensure that we maintain our focus on “Taking Student Growth and Achievement to the Next Level.”  As a staff we are committed to continuous progress and meeting all expectations as it relates to College and Career Readiness Performance Index (CCRPI).  As a team we will maintain our focus on evidence - based instructional practices leading to a WORLD CLASS educational experience for our students. 

During my two-year tenure as Assistant Principal of Hightower Trail Elementary I had the pleasure of meeting many of our families.  Now, as Principal, I look forward to your visits, phone calls and volunteering so that we may get to know one another better.  Just know that I welcome you into Hightower Trail Elementary and recognize the importance of the partnership between home, school and the community contributing to the success of our students.
