Dear Parents and Families,
Welcome to a new school year! It is with great excitement and gratitude that I welcome you and your family to another year of learning, growth, and success. Whether you are returning or joining our school family for the first time, we are thrilled to have you as part of our community.
Our mission is simple: to provide every child with a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where they can reach their full potential. We believe every scholar deserves to be challenged academically, encouraged socially, and celebrated for their unique strengths.
I have been blessed to serve as a school administrator for the past 24 years. This is my 15th year as a school principal, and most of my administrative experience has been in this area. I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, and playing with my two doggies. I am overjoyed at the opportunity to meet our parents and scholars and have a great year of learning together!
This year, our theme is “Growing Greatness…One Trail at a Time”. This theme reminds us that scholar success is built through strong partnerships between home and school. When families and educators work together, children thrive.
Our dedicated teachers and staff have spent the summer preparing classrooms, planning engaging lessons, and creating welcoming spaces where scholars can learn with confidence. We are eager to begin another year filled with meaningful learning experiences, exciting opportunities, and lasting memories.
As principal, my commitment is to:
- Foster a safe and welcoming school for every child.
- Support high-quality teaching and learning in every classroom.
- Communicate openly and regularly with families.
- Celebrate scholar growth and achievement.
- Work collaboratively with parents to ensure every scholar succeeds.
Our Open House will be on July 30 from 3 PM-6 PM. We cannot wait to see you and your child here for this important date. Also, please watch for information about parent meetings, school events, and other important dates through our school website, social media pages, emails, and phone messages via ParentSquare. We want to ensure you always know what is happening at our school.
Thank you for trusting us with your child’s education. We recognize that educating children is a shared responsibility, and we value the confidence you place in our school each day. Together, we will inspire our scholars to learn, grow, lead, and achieve. We look forward to welcoming our scholars back and partnering with you for a wonderful school year.
