Assistant Principal's Corner

Assistant Principal's Corner Message:

Greetings Hightower Trail Families,

My name is Melissa Travis, and I am honored to begin my third year as Assistant Principal of Hightower Trail Elementary School. It continues to be a privilege to serve this incredible school community, and I am grateful for the opportunity to partner with our students, families, staff, and community members.

I have had the honor of serving in education for over twenty years, with fifteen years in Rockdale County Public Schools and many of those years here at Hightower Trail. Throughout my career, I have been inspired by the dedication of educators, parents, and community stakeholders who work together to support the academic, social, and emotional growth of every child.

At Hightower Trail, we are dedicated to excellence in teaching and learning, and I am proud to be part of a team that puts students first. I look forward to continuing to support the needs of our students, faculty, and families while working together to make this school year a successful and rewarding experience for all.

Thank you for your continued trust, partnership, and commitment to our school community. I am excited about the opportunities ahead and look forward to another wonderful year at Hightower Trail Elementary School.

Sincerely,
Melissa Travis
